Manish Kushwaha

I am a Research Director at the Micalis Institute (a joint research centre of INRAE, AgroParisTech, and the University of Paris-Saclay), where I co-lead the Cellular Computing Group.

My research applies experimental and theoretical methods to the design of biological systems across scales: in cell-free expression systems, in bacterial cells of diverse species, and in bacterial co-cultures. We aim to improve the predictable and automatable design of synthetic genetic and metabolic circuits, while expanding their cross-system compatibility. For details, please see the Research page.
